Nicolas Jackson will join Bayern Munich in goalscoring form following his controversial departure from Chelsea in the summer.
Chelsea left Jackson in limbo late in the summer transfer window after striking an agreement to loan the striker to Bayern Munich, but these plans were thrown into chaos by Liam Delap’s injury against Fulham.
Delap being struck down with a hamstring injury saw the Blues begin the process of a U-turn on the deal for Jackson’s departure, and the striker was left “angry” at Chelsea’s stance after travelling to Munich.
However, Chelsea resolved their sudden dearth of strikers by instead recalling Marc Guiu from his own loan move to Sunderland, and Jackson completed his switch to Bayern on a loan-to-buy deal worth £70million in total to Chelsea.

Jackson has been tipped to succeed at Bayern by his former Chelsea team-mates as he prepares to join up with the rest of Vincent Kompany‘s squad, and he will do so following a goal in the international break.
The Senegal international started up front in a top-of-the-table clash with DR Congo in their World Cup qualifying group, and the Lions of Teranga went into the match one point behind Yoane Wissa‘s team.
Wissa doubled DR Congo’s lead in the first half before Pape Gueye netted late on for Senegal, and second-half strikes from Jackson and Tottenham’s Pape Sarr completed the turnaround for a 3-2 victory.

Here we go Lions”.

Football Insider Verdict
Jackson’s loan move to Bayern looks set to culminate in a healthy profit for Chelsea on their third-choice striker, with the German giants in line to pay a £14.3million loan fee and £56.2m permanent transfer fee.
However, Bayern legend and current executive Uli Hoeness has dismissed their prospects of signing Jackson permanently after stating that their obligation to buy will only be triggered if he makes 40 starts.
The 24-year-old didn’t even manage 40 matches across all competitions last term yet did complete 40 starts from 44 appearances in his debut season at Stamford Bridge, but it remains to be seen if Chelsea will be collecting that £56.2m fee in 12 months’ time.
